What we're looking for:
No baking experience? No problem. We'll teach you everything you need to know in the kitchen. What we can't teach is the passion to support and lead young people with a disability in a hands-on, real-world environment.
We're looking for people who are kind, patient, observant, and genuinely passionate about empowering people with disability to build independence and reach their goals.
A background in hospitality or customer service is a bonus, and while a Cert III or higher in Disability Support is ideal, we're happy to support the right person in working toward one.
What you’ll do:
Support participants through baking, packing, order fulfilment, and customer service tasks
Provide clear, step-by-step prompting and guidance tailored to each participant's needs
Help participants with time management, numeracy, and workplace routines
Model and reinforce positive workplace behaviour and customer service
Work as part of a small team supporting groups of 3–5 participants each day
Contribute to a tidy, organised kitchen and help each day begin and end with a sense of achievement
Supporting and mentoring young people to achieve their personal workplace goals
Baking cupcakes and other delicious treats.
