Baked by Us provides opportunities for children and young people who have a disability to gain kitchen and workplace skills with us. This includes learning how to professionally make our cupcakes, develop kitchen skills, learn how to make coffee and serve customers, deliver orders around the community, and most importantly work as part of a team.

Those who have developed skills and demonstrate the ability to create sellable products may be offered paid employment in our kitchen.

Young people can join us at flexible times throughout the week, based on the capacity in our kitchen and staff availability. We are currently in our ‘training term’ as we establish the cafe and are open on Wednesdays - Fridays from 9AM-5PM.

We also provide opportunities for school-aged young people to create with us in the kitchen from 4PM-6PM on Wednesdays. During this time we support children to develop kitchen skills, and create some amazing cupcakes. Each week one of our group members invents a cupcake that we sell to real customers throughout the week.
